Directed by Gregg Bishop (www.GreggBishop.com), this short sci-fi project was filmed both on location and on a virtual set. As the Production Designer, I was giiven the opportunity to do a lot of things. I was set decorator, I also contributed to wardrobe and costuming. I made a series of prop portal-guns. I also did that thing where I help out in every department I can, such as grip, electric, and s/fx. I even made a large amount of fake bricks, which is something I never thought I’d say in my life. My favourite bit was how I made the barn in the basement of Atlanta’s Shakespeare Tavern look like a few distinct multiverse locations. If you look carefully I even have a cameo!
A despondent high-school baseball coach struggles to get back home to his family after he is attacked by his alternate self from another dimension and sent to a parallel world.
One of two projects being shot back to back (the other one being Howl at the Dead) and we did a lot of work in a very short period of time, and I loved every minute of it.
